The Chairman /MD Klickonnect Networks Int'l limited, Chief Ajipe Alex has announced to the local governments and Ministry of Youth and Sports Development in the state that Klickonnect will collaborate with the Ondo State Government to boost agricultural production in the state.

According to Ajipe, Nigeria is the largest producer of cassava in the world with an average production of over 45 million metric tons which amounts to about 20 per cent of global cassava production and Ondo State is one of the largest producers of cassava in the Nigeria.

Chief Ajipe said Klickonnect Networks have concluded plans to add value to agricultural in the state.

Wewood cassava to ethanol has given Klickonnect Networks sole mandate to aggregate and cordinate all cassava supplies to the newly built wewood cassava to ethernol factory located at the Ondo- Linyi industrial hub.

Klickonnect Networks swing to action by initiating a “cassava revolution” in Ondo State. Partnering with the state ministry of youth and sport development and all the 18 local government council areas of the state.

Chief Alex Ajipe also visited Ondo West, Ifedore and Akure South local governments with the promise to provide all the inputs needed for effective commercial cassava farming in the grassroots by using the same to empower our teeming youths and also give value addition to the farmers In the state.

Chief Ajipe commended Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for creating an enabling environment. According to him, the development has attracted many foreign investors into the state.

While receiving Klickonnect team in his office the entire leadership of the ministry of youth and sport development led by the Hon. Commissioner, Mr Saka Yusuf Ogunleye, thanks the initiator of Ondo State cassava revolution, chief Alex Ajipe and his Klickonnect team.

Hon. Ogunleye commended the purposeful leadership of the state under Arakunrin Akeredolu ogunleye says this will go along way to fulfill more one of the APC administration electioneering promise of using agriculture to empower the youths and raise agripreneurs in the state.

Ogunleye who give a matching order to the ministry staff led by its Permanent Secretary to immediately convene a workshop on youths with the involvement of critical stakeholders immediately for the project.

In another separate reactions, Ondo West local government Chairman, Hon. AYodeji EbEnezer AkInsulire, his counterpart from Ifedore, Hon. Oladimeji Alex Akin and Akure South local government Chairman, Hon. Gbenga Olaniyi welcome Chief Ajipe and commended the project, the council Chairmen therefore, promised to give maximum support and ensure the project becomes reality.
