This really happened while i was in NYSC orientation camp @ Gumel in Jigawa state - we are always roused outta our beds at the ungodly hour 4:30 am by the beagle, whistling blowing soldiers. one morning, we were all so exhausted from activities of the previous night that we didn't even hear the warning signals, the Regimental Sergeant Major (RSM) bursts into my room & exclaims in surprise on seeing sleeping corpers; "I dey vlow veagle vrow, vrow, vrow since I know hear, I still dey sreef!" |
