Painkillers are becoming a dangerously popular drug of choice throughout the world. Tramadol, an over-the-counter opioid analgesic, is becoming a problem in Nigeria. Tramadol is considered a safer alternative to other narcotics such as methodone and hyrdocodone, however, it is just as addictive. Tramadol can produce the same effects as another addictive opiate painkiller- oxycodone. It is becoming a popular drug of choice because of the numbing effects it produces. Tramadol is easily accessible through pharmacies because it is not regulated or banned. Not to mention it is cheaper than marijuana. It is important for families of loved ones to identify the signs of a pill addiction due to the lack of regulation, easy access and cheap cost. https://www.taylorrecovery.com/5-hidden-signs-of-a-pill-addiction/
