If you want a machine with the most versatility, then your best bet is to go with a 2-in-1 laptop. We’ve listed the best 2-in-1 laptops below and here are three quick things you need to keep in mind when shopping.

Bendback or Detachable?: A bendback 2-in-1 laptop, which has a screen that flips back 360 degrees, works far better in laptop mode and usually has greater endurance, a better keyboard and more ports. A Detachable 2-in-1 laptop has a screen that pops off, providing a better tablet experience.
Screen Resolution: While some cheaper models will have 1366 x 768 resolutions, try to get at least a 1920 x 1080 display.
Size: For the best balance between portability and usability, consider a 2-in-1 laptop with a 12 or 13-inch display and a weight less than 3.5 pounds. Smaller laptops are great for kids while 15 and 17-inch models provide lots of real estate for drawing or media viewing.

The HP Spectre x360 combines gorgeous aesthetics with loads of power and a couple of very useful features. There is a lot to love about the Spectre x360 but the first thing you’ll notice is the laptop’s marvelous chassis, which looks like a jewel with its chamfered corners and faceted edges. Complimenting the elegant design is a vivid 13.3-inch, 1080 display that has punchy, saturated colors.

On the inside, the Spectre x360’s Core i7-8565U CPU offers enough power to run demanding programs or browse dozens of webpages. To top it off, the Spectre x360 has an excellent keyboard and powerful speakers, despite its slim, 0.6-inch chassis.
