The tongue is one of the delicate part of the human body as any misusage could cause lives of thousands. Rwanda is a great example. Not only Rwanda, but several nations across the globe.

However, as a not just Christians but Christ followers, what are the biblical verses to guide us against cutting our neighbours into pieces with our tongues.

The first one here is, Proverbs 12:19. And, this is one of my favourite as it has a very deep meanings in the marriages - " The lying tongue is for a moment."

"For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil " - 2 Peter 3:10. This is very explanatory and concise. Don't expect to reap peace from those you've planted evil into, especially your spouse. So be very slow to speak even when you're right.

Lastly, "There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise is health." - . If you want to win any contract of jump any human obstacles, use your tongue wisely and never cut your anyone with it. Remember, before you talk think. And before you think, think.
