good luck in getting one here, all they do is steam wash old engines and call them tokunbo, no wonder they give you 2 weeks guarantee.

2 - Thick blue smoke and black as well.

5- Frequent fuel consumption might not necessary mean the engine is the culprit here. Fuel pump, filter, bad caburator.

True, you end up getting engine like say above 180 miles or rebuilt engine in some cases, you lucky if they still in top shape. But if you get the engine and use sythetic oil on it, it might last you a life time.

I mean the replaced engine. Car is over 10yrs

Am suppose to pay for a new (tokumbo) engine tomorrow for my Camry Spider. Currently my car smokes non stops and also dry out oil in 2 weeks, fuel consumption na die, it Jerks on acceleration and also soak plug number 4 or burns it completely most times. But be sure i will never take 3 months warranty not to talk of 2 weeks. Plus my mech said i should get half engine since it’s the piston ring on the 4th cylinder that is bad. Am seriously considering it to save cost in the harsh economy. Auto guys what’s your say on this matter ?

its not a new engine, you won't tell me that car manufacturers make brand new engines for a 10 year old car, that has been scrapped.

its only on Nigeria people show off scrap vehicles, go and do a comprehensive insurance on that car and see what the insurance man will say to you.
