I don't know why we could not get anti-mines machines and tanks that carries out total cleansing of landmines areas before infantry or ground troops moves in - Check out US soldiers in Afghanistan, Syria and other war zones, even in the early 90's in Angola during the war with UNITA, you see anti mines tanks moving through swathe of land, detonating mines to allow ground troops safe passage.

But here, you are on your own. The budget for it may have been embezzled.

The main problem our military has is lack of proper intelligence and air support. Boko Haram can't be defeated until those two things are in place. Most of these place they're parading should be done with military jets and helicopters. Air is the only advantage they have over these boko boys.

But then, if it's the same Nigerian Army that used to sell scratch cards for recruitment, I'm not surprised Imagine an army that makes money from recruiting people who are going to sacrifice their lives. Well that stopped when Buhari came in sha, so I guess it was under Jonathan and Ihejirika that such acts took place.

What a gory sight to behold of our gallant heroes while the military top brass and nincompoop thieving political classes seat their fat asses down in cosy offices in Abuja and other parts of the country dishing out diversionary orders while they dip their klepty fingers into the cookie jars meant to better the lots of the citizenry and properly equip these gallant men.

They have all forgotten the most recent case of how karma is truly "pantless" with Alex Badeh's killing like a street urchin.
