Ondo state governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN) says digital technology remains the only panacea to boost the economy.
The governor while declaring open the second edition of digital training program organized by the State Information Technology Agency (SITA) in collaboration with the Premier Hub Innovation centre in Akure explains that, gone are the days when people labor so much to achieve little result.
Represented by his SSA on ICT Hon. Olumbe Akinkugbe, Akeredolu explains that, with relevant skills in advanced manufacturing technologies, young entrepreneurs will achieve more in the area of production.

According to him, the 5-day training has been carefully designed to expose the young entrepreneurs to modern tools, entrepreneurial skills, digital innovations and software that can redefine the future of their chosen careers.
In her goodwill message, the Acting Perm. Secretary of SITA Mrs Bunmi Omotola attributed the 2nd edition of the training to the resounding success of the first program.
According to Mrs Omotola, multiple reports from the field indicated that large numbers of the first beneficiaries now have improved production with the use of digital technology.

In an interview, one of the facilitators of the training Mr. John Awodeyi informed that the 5-day intensive training will cover electric, building and automobile.
About thirty entrepreneurs from the three senatorial districts of the state are taking part in the exercise.
