A chief returned from Abuja with a suitcase containing 2 million naira but couldn't find the money the following day, yet there was no robbery attack.

He invited some police detectives to help him unravel this mystery n here are their findings

1: Rough twenty thousand naira notes with different serial numbers were found with the maid. Shet said it was the salary chief paid her two weeks ago

2: Neat fifty thousand naira notes with different serial numbers were found with Chief's first son. He said it's his pocket money.

3: Neat five hundred thousand naira notes were found with chief's second wife but with different serial number. She claimed it was the proceed from her sales the previous day


4: Some neat but mutilated five thousand naira note with same serial number were found with chief's daughter but claimed it was her savings.


The detective then concluded that one of them must have stolen the money.

Though the amount is small and the notes mutilated, the fact remains that she is lying. So she must have intentionally roughened the notes and safely hidden the remaining.
