Thank you very much for coming up with a fact. Our grand parents were devoid of this belief in hand outs and easy money.I don't know if oil caused all these. It pains me deeply each time I think of what our future will be like.Even our parents got their degrees through hard work and studies but today we buy ours with money.

Some. Not all.
And as much as I despise the fraud, you cant blame some people.
Blame the system and their ridiculously high school fees. Imagine, some parents dont even get their paychecks regularly, so how can they sustain their children through school?
Then you have some who do not have money, but yearn for knowledge.
You have some with the degree, but where are the jobs?
Then there are some without the money for the school, but yet have more knowledge at the job than the degree holder, but wont be hired because he doesnt have the paper. So what does he do?

However, if you have the money, yet want to BUY your paper, then you're only to blame.

Nigerians are only hardworking and industreous to thier selfish aim. the problem here is that we do not work together for the common good.

And yes the poster is very right. We have become a nation of very lazy people, mentally and physically

A true account and analysis of Nigeria and the people that inhabit the country indicates epitome of laziness. Irrespective of ethnic affiliations, we have all thrown hard work into a bin of toxic waste. We cannot farm,we cannot manufacture,we cannot maintain our little infrastructure. Quest for degrees without aims to achieve technological advancement.

We disregard the hard working few like recyclers(wrongfully termed scavengers),wielders, farmers, fishermen, palm wine tappers, shoe makers and tailors. These people are actually contributing more than politicians and oil tycoons whom we revere so much.

Sometimes I wonder if some of you actually THINK with your brains before coming here to post.

You've just here represented ''farmers, fishermen, shoemakers, tailors'' etc as ''THE FEW hardworking'' (when in fact they comprise the MAJORITY population) and then you classified the HANDFUL (0.2%) of ''politicians and oil tycoons'' as ''THE MAJORITY who are epitome of laziness''.

From which you concluded that ''we cannot farm, we are all useless etc etc''.

Get this poster: The OVERWHELMING majority of Nigerians are NOT JUST HARDWORKING, but FAR MORE HARDWORKING THAN YOU wherever you are sitting right now, with your pampered, manicured fingers typing gibberish on a computer, WHILE THEY slug it out in various physically demanding tasks, in conditions YOU could never endure.

Bloody Cheek.
