A lecturer at Nnamdi Azikwe University, Awka, in Anambra State, has been shot to death after attending a peace meeting between his kinsmen and Fulani herdsmen in Enugu State.

Dr Nnamdi Ogueche was allegedly murdered last night by suspected herdsmen along Ezeagu-Oll-Umulokpa Uzo Uwani Road in Enugu State.

He was shot in the mouth.
