Fec's APPROVAL OF N27.4bn by MANofMEN(m): 2:55pm On Mar 21, 2019
The FEC's approval of March 20th 2019 of N27.4bn for victims of flood disasters and insecurity in 14 states of the country did not come to many as a surprise.

Contrary to mischievous insinuations by the opposition that the PMB administration has worsened the poverty situation of Nigerians, the government has once more demonstrated it's concerned feelings to all Nigerians by way of providing them with succour aimed at improving their lives.

While N8.5bn is earmarked for victims of conflicts in Adamawa, Benue, Borno, Plateau, Taraba, Yobe and Zamfara states, the victims of 2018 flood ravaged states of Adamawa, Anambra, Bayelsa, Benue, Delta, Edo, Jigawa, Kebbi, Kogi, Kwara, Niger, Rivers, Sokoto and Taraba will get N18.9bn.

The government deserves commendation for it's magnanimity expressed in these actions to supportfor Nigerians in distress to enable them resettle and resume economic and farming activities in their domains.
