Whatever the Tribunal's ruling is, the ruling can be appealed at the appellate court. Luckily, whatever the court of appeal's judgement is, Supreme Court is the last court of instance in this legal battle.

In the Rivers State 2015 election petition, Dakuku Peterside won at the tribunal; won at the Appeal Court, while Nyesom Wike eventually won at the Supreme Court. Today, Wike is still serving as the Executive Governor of Rivers State.

As it is the common practice,
status quo ante will be maintained in this regard. Therefore, Gboyega Oyetola remains the Executive Governor of the State of Osun till the last ruling of the Supreme Court. That is the position of the law.

The Supreme Court will change this if the Court of Appeal does not. Rejoice not yet, it's a three rounds fight, you just won the first round. Second round is going to be at the Appeal Court and the third and last round will be at the Supreme Court.

Popular Nigerian singer, Davido has just reacted to his uncle, Ademola Adeleke's victory at the Osun state election tribunal.

Senator Ademola Adeleke went to the tribunal after Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Isiaka Oyetola as the Governorship candidate of Osun State (off-season) election conducted in 2018.

The Osun State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Abuja went on to declare PDP’s, Ademola Adeleke as winner of the 2018 governorship election in the state.

It held that the All Progressives Congress and its candidate, Gboyega Oyetola, were not validly returned.

Reacting to the report, Davido wrote on his page;
