The Tribunal had yesterday declared Senator Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) winner of the 2019 election in Osun State.

In its Judgment yesterday, the court declared Adeleke as the duly elected governor of Osun State.

According to the Judge, Justice Obiora he said, “The PDP and Adeleke has proved beyond reasonable doubt that INEC did not comply with the Electoral Act in 17 polling units”.

Although the Osun State Governor Mr. Gboyega Oyetola said that the judgment of Election Petition Tribunal which declared the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate as winner has been put on appeal.

Mr. Oyetola, in a statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Wole Oyebamiji, on Friday in Osogbo said justice will prevail.

According to the statement, he said "the state government charged residents of the state to remain calm and go about their lawful activities following the tribunal judgment in the governorship election petition".https://abasworldwide.com/tribunal-declared-adeleke-governor-elect/
