Few days ago, their was a mild drama at the commissioning of the newly acquired fire brigade tankers and ambulances at the FCT fire service headquarters.

The commissioning went sour after the FCT Minister, Mallam Muhammad Musa Bello discovered the massive corruption under the leadership of Mr. Julius Opetunsin, the fire service chief.

The event which was televised live was sought of a national disgrace, after the minister discovered that the money meant for the brigade tankers and ambulances were embezzled.

Some of the discoveries of the FCT minister, were the nature of the emergency ambulances, which had no A/C and Oxygen tanks in them. Another was the emptiness of the first aid boxes inside the ambulances, coupled with their dusty nature.

The fire chief, Mr Julius Opetunsin was later suspended while the commissioning was still ongoing.
