Accident is an unfortunate incidence that happens unintended and unexpectedly. It typically or usually results in damage or injury which at times bring about total deformation of one or more part of the body of the sufferer. It can be caused by personal error or chance. So it is important to take note of the following tips for safety, as health remains wealth:

1.ALERTNESS:

Be alert when doing your job. This prevents accident especially people working with some powerful industrial machines. Many who get wounded at work are people who sleeps on duty. This also enhance performance and hence promotion at work place.

2.UNIFORMS AND SAFETY GADGETS:

Wear proper uniforms and protective equipments like helmet, glooves,footwear, etc. These are called personal protective equipments (PPE). This saves from unnecessary infections and injury that can lead to regret.

3. PARTICIPATION IN EMERGENCY DRILLS:

Many workers take the drill exercises as being boring and so avoid it and thereby fall victim when emergency situation arises as others escape through the knowledge they have acquired.

4. KNOWLEDGE OF POSSIBLE RISK OF A JOB:

When handling a job especially high risk one you are not sure of or a job you think will expose you to danger, ask your superior or supervisor before engaging the job.

5.FOLLOWING SAFETY PROGRAMS AT WORKPLACE:

Some employer organises safety programmes for their workers so it is important you participate as the information may be vital in critical situations to be encountered later.

6.REPORT SIGNS OF ACCIDENT AROUND:

Don't ignore any possible causes of accident you see around. Report them to management so they can be taken care of before it gets too late.

7.FORMATION OF EMERGENCY TEAM:

The employer should form an emergency team among the workers. They should be responsible for the formulation of rules and regulations that promotes safety in the organization.

8.PRIORITIZING WORKERS' HEALTH AND SAFETY:

The aim of the employer is profit but the health and safety of workers must be taken into consideration. They should not be exposed them to danger and hazards.
