Alibaba has recently acquired Israeli virtual reality start-up,known as Infinity Augmented Reality – the announcement came over the weekend. The deal terms are still yet to be made public, but prior to this period, Alibaba and InifinityAR  had built a strategic partnership since 2016, when the start-up’s series C was led by Alibaba Ventures. The two companies have since then worked together on various projects encompassing augment reality, artificial intelligence and computer vision and more.
