The voice of panic from the All Progressive Congress (APC) and efforts to stop the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, from approaching the elections petition tribunal are fueling suspicion that the allegations of a rigged election may be plausible. After the ruling APC have failed to discredit Atiku’s petition or cow him into accepting defeat, the party has gone on a tirade of unending accusations, instead of focusing on defending its victory at the tribunal. The battle has now shifted to the results server of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), which the APC claims have no value in the electoral process. By calling on the DSS and the Police to arrest PDP leaders, APC is suggesting that some truths are hidden somewhere.
