The World Habitat Ambassadors Foundation WHAF, has announced that it will be holding her Annual Leadership Conference and Honours on 13th April 2019.

This was made known by the Principal Consultant, Global Peace Ambassador Hillary Emoh during a press conference held in Abuja at the WHAF headquarters.

He said, “Promoting Culture, Cultural Pride, Intercultural Communication and Religious Tolerance is essential to having a Secure, Peaceful and Sustainable Habitat.

“While we are promoting environmental sanitation, personal hygiene and healthy living, we must also encourage Peace, Unity, Human Capacity Development through Schemes, SME’s, Youth Empowerment, Free Education for our children, and Jobs creation for our Youths.

“The Leadership Conference will have Security Experts, Leaders of Industry's, Real Estate Owners, Investor’s and Government Agencies that will focus on topics that are aimed at encouraging and promoting social and environmentally sustainable human settlements, development, urbanisation and shelter for all.

“WHAF is working to help people access decent, healthy and secure shelter through identifying innovative housing policy, practices and promoting these ideas through programmes, events, summit, workshops and conferences,’’ he said.

The 6th Annual World Habitat Leadership Conference and International Honours will take center stage on 13th April 2019 with the theme: “Effective Leadership" – Its role in Securing and Ensuring a Sustainable Habitat 2.0

The nomination and careful selection of His Excellency, Mr Paul Kagame, President of the Republic of Rwanda, among other President is in view of his unequivocal commitments to the growth and development of Rwanda, its community, education, including human capital development whereby thousands of the country's citizens are employed yearly.

Amb. Hillary also stated that the selection of Her Excellency, Mrs Amai Auxillia Mnangagwa, the 1st Lady of the Republic of Zimbabwe is as a result of her relentless drive to empowering the rural woman and consistency in health related issues as well as community development projects over the years.

The WHAF Principal Consultant describes Her Excellency as an in-despicable agent of transformation and development who has done commendably well for her country Zimbabwe.

He equally stated that the nomination of Amb. Dr. Festus Asikhia is long overdue as he is one of the few exceptional leaders that has contributed immensely to the development of Nigeria through housing and developmental strides.

He also mentioned that in terms of technology and innovation, there's no other individual that can best the GMD of BeepMagnet International Limited, Amb. Dr. Gilead Okolonkwo. He said” Dr. Gilead Okolonkwo is indeed a Nation Builder, using technology and innovation, Amb. Gilead has provided an avenue for job creations and has also employed hundreds of youths.
