Federal polytechnic oko, one of the best federal polytechnic in the country with about 20,000 students is without SUG for almost six months. this started after the cancellation of the election which was supposed to hold nov/dec 2018 due to alleged irregularities in the part of the elected SIEC. this situation of no representative of the students is really damaging somethings knowingly and unknowingly to the students but the pressing situation reaching our reporting room is the increase of transport fares, place that initially 50 NAIRA IS NOW Iincreased to 100 naira, within school movement which was 20 naira is now increased to 40 naira, increase in house rents. the School Authorities, the body with the duty to ensure that there is SUG and the entire school community is hereby implore to look into it and ensure successful election. NANS should intervene if need be to ensure that the right thing is done. It is the welfare of 20,000 students that we are talking about
