Wednesday 20th March was a celebration time for Qatar Airways as the 250th aircraft, an Airbus A350-900 from Toulouse, France arrived as the current addition to the group’s growing fleet of passenger, Freight and executive aircraft.

This landmark comes simply 22 years after the carrier started operations. Qatar Airways The brand-new A350-900 joins the airline’s modern fleet, where the typical age of aircraft is less than five years of ages.

As of 20 March 2019, Qatar Airways’ fleet was comprised of 203 guest airplane, 25 Freight and 22 Qatar Executive jets.Commenting on the achievement, Qatar Airways Group President, His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker, said: “I am exceptionally proud that we have reached this historical landmark of having a fleet that now numbers 250 airplanes.

The delivery of our most recent Airbus A350-900 is a mark of the outstanding development we have actually seen over the last 20 years, and to our commitment to flying only the newest and most highly sophisticated aircraft in the world”.
