Chelsea could sign Barcelona star Philippe Coutinho in the summer transfer window if they get their transfer ban overturned, says former Blue Craig Burley.

Coutinho is regarded as one of the finest creators in Europe and was supposed to be the long-term successor to Andreas Iniesta at the Camp Nou, but he has failed to make the kind of impact this season that made him a Liverpool superstar in the Premier league.

I really doubt he would leave for the blues in the summer. P.Couthino said himself that he doesn't want a return to the EPL so a move to any English team is pretty slim but i think a possible destination is PSG as they may just be prepared to lose K.Mbappe to Los blancos #RealMadrid

TIS , Coutinho isnt Chealsea's problem as they have a stream of midfield players in their squad; the likes of Joginho, Kante, Kovacic, Drinkwater, Bakerly and Eden Hazard are just good enough for this Chelsea side.. They should be thinking of signing strikers like Luka Jovic(on loan from Benfica), Paco Alcacer(BVB), Timo Werner(Leipzig), Luis Suarez(He needs a new challenge), Marco Icardi(who is fed up with inter's style of football), let uninspiring signing, G.Higuain return back to Italy and think of ways to end the crazy faze of Sarri ball so as to enable Willian return back to the squad.
