Issuance of Notice of Election: October 13 2010

Campaign commences: October 17th 2010

Collection of Forms: October 19-22 2010

Registration of Voters: 1 October - 14 November 2010

Display of Voters Register: 22-25 November 2010

Submission of Forms Deadline: (National Assembly) 15 November 2010, (Presidential) 22 November 2010, (Governorship and State Assemblies) 29 November 2010.

Publication of Candidate Particulars: 22 November - 14 December 2010

Submission of Party Agents: 8-22 January 2011

Deadline for Campaign: (National Assembly) 14 January 2011 (Presidential) 21 January 2011 (Governorship & State Assemblies) 28 January 2011

National Assembly Elections: 15 January 2011

Presidential Elections: 22 January 2011

Governorship & State Elections: 29 January 2011.

Cramped but achievable, I pray they follow it through. More importantly, I wish the Voters' Registration is done electronically with finger prints identification. This is the only way to do away with rigging completely.

yeah very tight schedule, but well organized still.

I'll soon be going back to my state to register.

Registering to vote is the most important thing because apart from the fact that only registered voter can elect government officials, only registered voters, whether they voted or not, can remove unwanted elected officers.
