A young man was allegedly stabbed by his girlfriend over a phone call in Rivers state

According to reports, the victim identified as Mr. Abeulah, a native of Delta but stays in Ogu/Bolo local government area of Rivers state, with his girlfriend named Miss Alice Peter, who is a native of Ogoni in Rivers.

It was gathered that Mr. Abeulah was said to be making a phone call when his girlfriend stormed the room and allegedly stabbed him in the eye. According to an eyewitness, the lady said her reason was that he (the victim) was calling another woman while she was still with him. The victim was rushed to a nearby pharmacy for urgent medical treatment.

The accused has been apprehended and the matter taken up by Bolo youth council.
