2019 UTME MOCK: THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT IT

As it has been earlier scheduled, the 2019 Utme holds tomorrow, Monday 1st of April, 2019.
You should take note of the following:
1. Documents required
2. (Mock) fee
3. Gravity/Importance
4. Eligibility
5. Relevance to main exam(Utme)


1. DOCUMENTS: Candidates are required to go along with a printed copy of the Mock details page (reprinting) and their stationeries(pencil, eraser, sharpener etc)


2. FEE: Each candidate is expected to pay a sum of #700 (seven hundred naira) at the point of writing the mock.


3. GRAVITY/IMPORTANCE: The mock was introduced in 2017 to give candidates an insight on how the main exam is. It serves to enlighten and bridge the gap between candidates who are not familiar with the system and the exam.
Also, it functions as a self-test programme to enable prospective Jambites evaluate themselves.


4. ELIGIBILITY: For a candidate to be eligible for the exam, (s)he must have indicated at the point of registration before the stipulated time.
By default, only candidates who registered before the stipulated date and answered 'Yes' to the 'Will you like to take an optional most test' question asked at the point of registration are eligible to write the mock.


5. RELEVANCE TO MAIN EXAM (UTME): Contrary to most people's assumption, the mock results has no usage aside proficiency rating. It is neither added to the main exam result nor used for admission process.
Its result is not valid for schooling activities.


Above all, it should be noted that the mock is solely optional. Not participating in it has nothing to do with the main exam or more precisely, admission purpose.
