The failure of the Aburi peace accord opened the theatre of war that led to the death of millions of Nigerians.
The Nigerian side entrusted the medical care of the Nigerian soldiers to a certain Olusola Saraki,rumor mill said the contract was so big that Olusola did not only become a millionaire but a multimillionaire, and the beginning of a dynasty that will forever shake the very core of Kwara and Nigerian political history.

Olushola started a political movement in Kwara that combines politics,culture and religion. Saraki was so smart that he identified with the Yoruba side by calling himself Olusola,romanced the fulani aristocrats by saying he's Saraki,appealed to the masses by feeding them regularly in his home,married a christian to identify with the minority and stood at the feet of the Shehus,to consolidate his hold on the state.

His grasp on kwara politics can be likened to the way the Romanov dynasty controlled the Russian government for decades, and oiling the country from an agrarian society into a dominant force to be reckoned with in international politics.

Olusola was the master of the game, he never for once fought the central government, he uses the state machinary to his advantage and thus nurtured his beloved Bukky to become his perfect picture, his image, his gift to the people of kwara and Nigeria at large.

Bukky entered the political stage as a "starboy", just like Peter the great of the Russian empire. Tall,handsome,charismatic, energetic and of course,a master chess player. The image of a new Nigeria.

He rode on the back of his daddy's glory and became the governor,some said he betrayed his father,a point I always argue ,he did not,Olusola played the sympathy game and at the end of the day voted for bukky in the same election.

But over the years, the dynasty ruled like a cabal, Gbemi Saraki,Bukky and the rest were accused of milking the state dry, they Improvised the state,while they grow fat ,they feed the populace spoilt bread,while they ate bread,the people drank well water,while they drank honey laced drinks.

Just like the Russian workers, kwarans were agitated,tired of the dynastic rule.
