a pregnant wife of my friend is Hepatitis B positive while the husband is negative despite the two have sex severally before the wife conceived. The problem now is that he was told at his hospital that he needs 60-70k for vaccine for the baby after birth so that the baby wont be affected. This money is much considering his conditions, can he get it at a cheaper price elsewhere? secondly, can the wife too be treated with any anti viral drugs after birth? pls recommend what should he do at this stage? Professional advice only. thanks |
