Agreed. How on earth would a party consider scheming the south east out of National positions? It is ludicrous and preposterous! It tells alot that the majority of the party's stakeholders are tribalist. APC, might be the majority, yes, but those positions are not APC party leadership positions, they are national positions. Since 1999, no zone was schemed out of national positions by the PDP leadership, despite the voting pattern. This changed in 2015. Scheming out the Igbos, a major ethnic group from the national equation, is the first deliberate grand mistake this Administration is making. It would not end well!

Modified!

What do you mean by putting all eggs in the basket? You guys annoyingly thoughtlessly say it. Do you mean there are no APC senator elects or House member elects from the south east? If there are non, it is simply a non issue. When you want to elect Chairman of Governors forum, then you can talk of all eggs in basket, but for now, how many senators do you want so that it will not be all eggs in Basket? How many rep members do you want so that it will not be all eggs in basket? What basket are those APC senators and Rep members from the south east contained?

Get your facts right. Southwesterns were sidelined in 2011. No President, no VP. No SP or Speaker and none of the deputies in NASS.

Fools forget history easily. How many PDP governors did South West have in 1999 when their son became President of Nigeria? How many PDP senators? In case you 4get, it was other regions that voted their son OBJ into power. Get a life!

What are you talking about?

Two Yoruba men contested the 1999 elections. So, the two contestants were Yoruba sons. If Obasanjo had lost, a Yoruba would still have won.

Moreover, Southwest is not overwhelmingly stuck to a party like Southeast who have been gunning for PDP. The case has got to the point that if PDP fields the devil, Southeast would still vote massively for PDP.

That is what happens when you don't play politics based on issues but emotions and so much bitterness.

Igbos really suck in politics and they display it everywhere, even in schools.

Also get this fact, that PDP zoned speakership to the south west in 2011, but Tinubu and co, working in cahoot with a few disgrunted PDP element hijacked it to the North west in a Saraki/Dogara styled manner. But atleast PDP did zone it to the south west. Let the APC zone a position to the south east first. If they hijack it, no body will complain

I guess Aguiyi Ironsi that took us back to the unitary system is a Fulani man

Actually, giving an Igbo man power in the 60s was the biggest reason for the mess this country is in right now.
You are on point!and they blame today on others,or they stop teaching histroy to them, because their own versions of events is always 370degree turn from the real events.the authors from igbo land normally write from their own angle .
