Nigerian students were caught in the web of the last alleged coup attempt in Turkey and the counter measures that followed, causing many of them to be detained like criminals while majority were stranded at the airport.

None of those who abandoned their studies in Turkey would advise anyone to make a try so soon. Maybe it is advisable to select a country with stable democracy as a prospective study location.
