What Nigerians Should Expect from Buhari in the Next Four Years – VP Osinbajo

The focus of the Buhari administration in the next four years will be to address, among other things, the deficiencies in the quality of human resources caused by poor education and healthcare, according to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, SAN.

Prof Osinbajo spoke on Monday at the University of Lagos where he delivered the Convocation Lecture ahead of the university’s 50th anniversary.

JAMB Shifts Printing of 2019 UTME Slips to April 4

The Head of Media and Publicity, Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, Dr Fabian Benjamin says the examination board has rescheduled printing of the 2019 Unified Tertiary Examination, UTME slips to April 4, 2019.

Dr. Fabian disclosed this during an interview with Journalists in Abuja on Tuesday, April 2, 2019.

During the interview, Dr. Fabian noted that the shift in date came after 14 Computer-based Tests (CBT) centres were on Monday suspended due to infractions during the board’s conduct of Mock examination, including an incident where JAMB staff were attacked at one of its centres.

NDA Postpones Entry Examination

The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) on Monday postponed the entry examination for 71 Regular Course applicants.

The Academy Public Relations officer, Major Abubakar Abdullahi , in a statement issued in Kaduna, said that the scheduled examination to hold on April 13 will now hold at a yet to be announced date.

Lagos State Task Force Arrests Two for Impersonation, Extortion

The Lagos State Environmental Sanitation and Special Offences Unit (Taskforce) has arrested two suspects for impersonating officers of the agency and extorting money from a motorist.

The suspects are Ademola Oyegunwa, 40 yrs and Olaogun Adamson, 48 yrs.

Task Force chairman, CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi disclosed this in a release made available to Journalist on Monday, April 1, 2019.

God is truly worthy of praise and thanksgiving. It is impossible to thank Him enough. I and my family, and so many of us here today have so many reasons to thank Him.

Occasionally, my wife and I reflect on how unlikely our journey here is. She frequently reminds me that all she wanted was a quiet life as one of the many families of academics living on the University campus. That was all that I promised, and that’s all that she really expected, but here we are.
