The United Arab Emirate Embassy in Nigeria, has debunked rumours of Visa banned on Nigerians. The embassy stated this through a press statement obtained by The Blog Nigeria.

There were series of rumours of Visa banned on Nigerians, over the arrest of five Nigerians in connection with a robbery incident at Bureau De Exchange in Dubai, UAE.

According to the embassy, "In light of the press reports published today alleging that the UAE has suspended issuing tourist visas to Nigerian nationals, the UAE Embassy in Abuja announces that these news are inaccurate and stresses the importance of sourcing news from its official channel."

How true? What's your source cos I know you bloggers don't really speak the truth. A blogger few hours ago on this NL created a thread which was posted on the homepage, saying MR IBU has stroke and receiving treatment in Enugu State, whereas the man is here in Lagos.

You need to do a lot to convince us with your source. More so, the news was not about cancelling tourist visas, but reducing the length. You must understand the difference. Of UAE actually said it, they're starting the fact. When you reduce the length of something, you've not banned it, but only limited it. Hence, UAE have not denied banning 3 months Visa Issuance, but denied banning tourist visas in it's entirety
