Why Atiku was Disgraced in the North

NIGERIA HAS Spoken-in a Keenly contested Presidential Election , Incumbent president Mohammadu Buhari of the APC defeated the Candidate of the Main Opposition PDP Atiku Abubakar with a Margin of Just Under four million votes.

Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has since Rejected the results and is poised to challenge it in court.

Many wonder why Atiku was rejected massively in the north being a Fulani Northerner and a Muslim just Like his Main Opponent .The reason is Not far fetched

1) Atiku is a Liberal and Detribalized Nigerian. The whole story can be told by him marrying from the three main tribes in Nigeria. He sees Nigeria as One and is not a tribal bigot like his main opponent.

The North suffered for a long time in the Nations Democratic dispensation. They lack Productivity, intellectual Capacity as Many are mostly Illiterates.The only thing they have got is politics.

Mohammadu Buhari had won Massively in the core North in previous Elections before he was first Elected with an average of 11 million votes .
He never hid his feelings of Prioritising his Northern and Islamic agenda.He is the poster boy of the North's Hegemonic and supremacist ideology

Atiku's Plan to restructure Nigeria was going to spell doom for the Core north. It would mean that the Center Will not Control all the resources and Invariably, the core north would have to work out their living through their internally Generated Revenue which is mostly Negligible .

When PMB made an assertion that the Nigeria's Youths are Lazy , he was in Actuality referring to Majority of Youth's in the Core North. They prefer free Moneys than Working to earn good Money .

Atiku's Plans to Make Nigeria work again included creating millions of Jobs. He knew as a back-up for the Survival of the North in His Restructuring plans was massive Job Creation through the private sector and Collection of Income tax which act as IGR but he was mistaken to think that these people want Jobs . What they want is Trader Moni, 5 thousand Naira to Millions of poor Nigerians ,free Money shared by Politicians and Wealthy Alhaji's etc

Atiku was never going to practice tribalism as the best brains to manage Nigeria are disperse all across the Nation ,not just from one tribe .

No matter how dumb Buhari
Might be ,they will vote him over Atiku

2) Secondly Atiku is Known to be a very wealthy Man with a bottomless well of money which is widely believed to be I'll gotten ,though no Evidence evidence to prove that he is corrupt.

Nigeria is the poverty Capital of the World and Core North is the Poverty capital of Nigeria. Buhari's Fans are Mostly the poor and Naturally the poor are Sadistic .They always think the rich is the cause or their problem .

To buttress the geographical map of his voters, you get to Wonder the Rich Abuja residents and Vgc residents in Lagos have failed to Vote Buhari in two consecutive Elections. They cannot vote in poverty by their own Thumbs

Buhari has a self professed Integrity . This image has been inundated by his Simplistic Nature , a farmer with Just 150 Cows . Allot of people claim That Atiku's American University is only For the Mightily rich with Tuition fees paid in Dollars as high as $6000 USD. They fail to realize the very essence of the University is to curtail Wealthy people sending money abroad to train their Children, instead the money can be invested in Nigeria and boom the Economy.

Atiku is a business Man and a successful one at that .He can decide to build a hospital of International repute that will curtail Medical tourism in Nigeria and also Improve the Economy.

Little wonder that as PDP wanted to turn the Election as a referendum on bad performance, APC turned things around immediately Atiku Got the PDP ticket and focused all their Energy on Anti-curruption Campaign to create and impression of the contrasting Images .One with Integrity and One who is a bureau de Change because he stole all our money thus making us poor.

Atiku Abubakar didn't help matters as he gave his opponent's more pointers to use against him with his remark of selling National assets to his friends.

Atiku Abubakar also said he would grant amnesty to looters if they return their loot's. He understand that most of the looters are the ones that drive the Economy of Nigeria and Witch hunting them will make many flee , abandon their Companies and pull their money out of Nigeria etc and it Will be detrimental to the General economy.

They played on the Subconscious Sadistic heart of the poor. Its Just a case of giving a dog a bad name in Order to hang it.

3) Thirdly, the Choice of an Igbo man as Atiku's running mate. Atiku wanted the best for Nigeria. The Vice president of Nigeria is the Chairman of Nigeria's Economic council. The Igbo's are the drivers of Nigeria's Economy and this is testament to the performances of Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Prof. Chukwama Soludo ,Prof Kingsley moghalu etc in the past .

Peter Obi's Performance as a Governor in Anambra state greatly improved their Economic sustainability and was the best man for the VP Job.

His choice came as a political blunder in the Nigerian political setting. There is no gain saying that the Core north hates the Igbo's.

The North behaves as to say , When you make my Enemy your best friend and ally,you become my enemy.

They Despised Atiku for associating with the Igbo's.

If he had Chosen a Yoruba running mate, the Igbo's would still vote him .

He decided embrace a tribe that put money firsts before everything else,a tribe that loves to see the downfall of their brothers, a race that don't usually come out to Vote.

Atiku Abubakar remains the best president Nigeria never bad because at 72 Nigeria I doubt if he Will contest again. Nigeria don't deserve a fine leader like him if they can't shelve Sentiments and vote a Man bound to Unite Nigeria and Fight poverty. They prefer Vengeance against against the So called corrupt Rich as to liberation from poverty
