1. A little black book
You might think it’s not important or you have it stored already on your mobile phone. Having a little book where you can write out important numbers you can call during emergencies isn’t such a bad idea. This could be number or address of a family doctor or a friend that stays nearby in case of emergencies. Other information that would be needed for healthcare should be included in this little black book. Who knows, your phone battery might be run down and there isn’t any way you can power it up. This book will definitely come handy at the most needed time.

2. Medication
It is possible one of your children is on prescribed medication and your car might develop a fault that would take chunk of your time. It is very important you have this prescribed medication in your car to avoid unwanted situation. So, always be on the safe side and get some of those dosages in your first aid kit for emergency situation.

3. Burn cream
Kids can be really kids! This means they can get into any situation whereby you might need to use this cream to lubricate a part in their body. So, when they involve in minor accident, this burn cream, when applied will make the pain to less painful. You do not want a kid to be crying out of pain while you are driving on the highway.

4. Adhesive bandages
These are also important thing you need to have in your little first aid kit. These adhesive bandages could either be tiny nick or small band aids that could be used to dress wounds after a cut.

5. Antiseptic wipes
This is also needed to be in your car. After a major cut, you need to apply this on them to prevent any form of infections from open wounds.

6. Anti-biotic cream
After cleaning the surface of any scratch or cut, you will need to apply something to relieve them of pain. Anti-biotic cream is very useful for taking care of any blister that could be as a result of rough play inside the car.

It is possible you are planning a field trip or long vacation that would take you through places where they might be exposed to insects. Though the insect sting cream might come handy but you can prevent this by getting a repellant for all insects. This is a preventive method rather than cure.

You never know what these children can get themselves into while you are busy focusing on the road. Their curious nature always exposes to some kinds of self-inflicted injuries, blisters and broken glass are always in their nature. Having a pair of tweezers in your first aid kit box will save you from unnecessary consolation that could distract you while driving.
