A businessman in Lagos state, Musibau Abudu, has been shot dead by suspected armed robbers at his residence on Itelorun Close, Haco bus stop, Adeniyi Jones area of Ikeja, Lagos State.




According to police reports, suspected robbers had come into the compound where Abudu resides to steal some inverter batteries. They gained access into the compound at about 2am last Thursday April 4th. It was learnt that while the robbers were operating inside the compound, Abudu stepped out of his apartment and was reportedly shot in the head.

The suspects after the robbery attack, escaped via the canal close to the house. Abudu was rushed to the Lagoon Hospital on Adeniyi Jones Avenue, where he was confirmed dead on arrival. The remains of the father of two was deposited in the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital’s mortuary.



Confirming the incident, the state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bala Elkana, said the command is on the trail of the suspected robbers and when apprehended, will be brought to book.
