JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform preventive patrol: use judgment to patrol areas where there is potential for crime; prioritize patrol pattern.
• Respond to calls for service and reports of crimes in progress; call for emergency medical or police services as needed and take charge of situation until supervisor arrives.
• Conduct preliminary investigations of civil, criminal or unusual incidents; prepare initial incident reports, prior to arrival of investigators.
• Assist in the evacuation of buildings or areas during emergency situations.
• Perform special event assignments,
• Oversee activities of security guards
• Perform all other duties as assigned

JOB CONDITIONS
• Requires lots of travelling
• Working with armed Police officers
• Emergency response call out
• Shift schedule (Day/Night Driving)
• Working during public holidays and festival period
• Security work environment – Regimented

• Knowledge of security practices and law enforcement principles required.
• Basic Investigative skills and techniques.
• Excellent writing and proofreading skills.
• Effective verbal communication skills.

• Decision making ability and excellent judgment.
• Task prioritization and leadership skills.
• Interpersonal relationship skills

Experience & Training
• At least 3 years’ experience in security forces (military, police, and security service) added advantage.
• Experience in a supervisory role desirable
• At least two years driving experience
• Strictly for OND holders or equivalent
• First Degree will be added advantage
• Driver’s License
