10. Thiery Henry

In his days at Arsenal, he was considered as one of the world best strikers. He was part of the 1998 France squad that won the World Cup. Two Premier Leagues and FA cup titles scoring 228 goals at Arsenal. He took Arsenal to the Champions League final in 2006 but were defeated by Barcelona. He ha a good football career. He was honoured with a statue after he left Arsenal


His Managerial career at Monaco didn’t match up to his quality on the pitch. It was poor. He couldn’t win a match in his first month with the substandard Monaco team. He recently signed old Arsenal Teammate, Fabregas with the hopes of reviving the Monaco squad and his name

In January, he got suspended as Monaco’s manager because of his poor performance


9. Gary Neville

This man spent all his years as a player in Manchester United. Gary Neville won eight Premier League titles and two Champions League titles. He was captain for Manchester United for 5 years and is well decorated.


His coaching career wasn’t all that glamorous. He was let go after 4 months in Valencia

8. Frank Lampard

He was the all-time leading goal scorer for Chelsea. A Premier League, FA Cup, UEFA Champions League, and Europa League winner. In 2005, he was the Runner-Up for the Ballon d’Or. The legendary Chelsea Midfielder currently coaches Derby County


Although, he has not achieved much in his managerial career, His legendary status and his mark at Chelsea still is a big deal and I personally think he still has many more years to prove himself.

7. Patrice Viera

Arguably one of the best players of his generation. The midfield general has won 3 Premier Leagues, 3 FA Cups, 4 Serie A titles, the World Cup and other local medals.


Vieira was a powerful, tenacious and aggressive footballer, with outstanding physical, athletic and technical attributes. He also excelled in the air. In all, Patrice Viera was a complete midfielder.


He has managed New York City but presently coaches OGC Nice.

6. OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER

He was nicknamed “the baby-faced-assassin” in his youth. His most memorable football moment was in 1999, when he came off the bench in the Champions League final against Bayern Munich. Manchester United was one goal down and he came in and won the game and the title for them.


In 2018, he was given the position of Manchester United’s coach after Mourinho was sacked. He has not been their manager for long, but in his short stay, he has brought life back to the Manchester United team

5. Antonio Conte

Conte was a midfielder who was a well decorated player in Juventus. Winning the champions league and five Serie A titles as their captain. He played in the 1994 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 2000 but Italy was named runner-up for both


As a manager at Juventus, he won 3 Serie A titles. Conte joined Chelsea and won them a Premier League title in his first season, FA Cup in the second season before he getting sacked.



4. Diego Simeone

He was a legendary Argentine player who had 106 international caps and won two Copa America titles. He played for Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan and Lazio. He was a midfielder and is currently tagged as a Legendary figure at Atletico. Following his achievements as a player and a coach


Diego Simeone a.k.a El Cholo currently coaches Atletico Madrid and is responsible for training many big names including Torres, Aguero, and Griezmann. Getting himself titles like the La Liga, Europa league and the Super Cup. In 2014, h came close to winning the Champions League when he faced Real Madrid in the finals and lost


He won the UEFA Cup with Inter Milan and the Serie A with Lazio

3. Carlo Ancelotti

In his football days, he was nicknamed Carletto. He began his career at Parma but move to Roma the following year. At Roma, he won the Serie A title and 4 coppa Italia titles. He joined Milan two league titles and two European Cups among other titles.


Ancelloti as a footballer was a creative and talented player who had great shot accuracy. He could score goals from outside the box easily.


As a Manager, he won the UEFA Champions League three times, once with Real Madrid and twice with AC Milan. He also has the English Premier League, French Ligue 1 and the La Liga in the bag. It should be noted also, that he won the Champions League as a manager and as a footballer.

2. Zinedine Zidane

Remember the World Cup Final in 2006 where Zidane headbutted Materazzi? Zinedine Zidane nicknamed Zizou doesn’t need too much introduction.


He won the FIFA World Player of the year 3 times and led France to win the World Cup title in 1998 (France really won the title exactly 20 years later)

His Champions League back to back win with Real Madrid speaks volume of his quality.

He was recently re-appointed at Real Madrid after they had a poor season after he resigned —what a legend

The present Manchester City coach is far qualified to be regarded as a Legend. He has coached Barcelona and Bayern Munich. He is a world-class coach and a tactician. He has won the Champions League, German Cup, Bundesliga title, Premier League, Spanish La liga and many other domestic trophies


He even helped Barcelona win six titles in one season. He is considered one of the most successful football managers and holds a record for consecutively winning the La Liga(Barcelona), Bundesliga(Bayern munich) and Premier League(man city) titles.


At Barcelona, he was awarded the Catalan Parliament’s Gold Medal after winning several titles for them, including and was named the FIFA World Coach of the Year. He won a total of 14 trophies in his 4-year stay

In his first season at Bayern, he won 4 trophies and had a total of 7 trophies during his 3 year stay there. All 3 seasons he was at Bayern, he won the Bundesliga (Legend!)

He was a defensive midfielder who was a playmaker. He was a part of Barcelona’s dream team that won the first European Cup or Champions League in 1992. They went on to win four successive Spanish League titles and was later the captain of the team.
