The International Monetary Fund (IMF) says it is worried about the rising quantities of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Nigeria and other Sub-Saharan African nations.

The IMF said this on Friday in Washington DC in its most recent Regional Economic Outlook for sub-Saharan Africa report displayed by Director of the IMF's African Department, Mr Abebe Selassie.

As per the IMF, the present number of inside dislodged people in the locale is multiple times higher than it was 20 years prior.

Figures from the report demonstrated that the quantity of IDPs in the Democratic Republic of the Congo is 4.4 million individuals, South Sudan 1.9 million and Nigeria 1.7 million.
