Still, most of the regions in India, are considered as male-dominated and ruler of the home. This is a very big concern and leads to create a limitation for a woman she is expected to follow traditional regulations. Observing the previous generation somehow both men and women want their girl to pursue traditional manners and wear accordingly.

But as the new generation is coming to look forward in this matter, the ethnic trend for women is getting fade and everyone want to live on own way. It is not prohibited to wear western or other outfits but it is state of mind comes from the old generation. It is not about only women but also men follow traditional wear in several areas. In rural communities, men still like to wear kurta and dhoti that shows their ethnic trend. So, we can call it a combined trend as India is known for its diversity. I believe, one day we all will not have to face such things that generate a minor difference between men and women.
