The Dutch league leaders Ajax defeat Juventus in a 2-1 away win to give them a spot in the Semis. The underdogs have done the unbelievable, taking out two titans; Real Madrid and Juventus.

It would be a hard pill to swallow for CR7 after he left Real Madrid to join Juventus to prove a point. His ex-team and his present team were knocked out by the same dutch side.


Juventus get Knocked out of the Champions League
Ronaldo scored the opener with a header making it his 98th career header– quite impressive.

The 19-year-old Captain De ligt scored the winner for Ajax. The Dutch side played their hearts out with 13 shots with 4 on target. They also had a cancelled goal which was ruled off as an offside.


This is the first time Ronaldo gets disqualified at the Quarterfinal since 2010. Juventus, on the other hand, have not been knocked out by a team outside Europe’s top 5 leagues since the 1981-82 season.
