Job Title: Marketing Officer

Job Description
Due to rapid growth in our Abuja office operations and product portfolio we are looking for an experienced marketing officer. This person will be a proactive figure in growing Product Marketing team at Center for learning/Open Source Global and will work closely across internal stakeholders including facilitators. The position will report to the Head of Business. Successful applicant will be based in Abuja.

What you’ll be doing
• Craft compelling messages that help participants or comapnies understand our benefits and unique advantages and deliver it through creative presentations, demonstrations, and positioning documents
• Develop sales enablement strategies focused on target markets and buyers.
• Help position Center for learning as a voice of authority and knowledge to audiences tasked with training and skill developemnt
• Gather and analyse competitive data to serve as part of a comprehensive competitive intelligence program
• Act as an evangelist for Center for learning products to market influencers, industry analysts, prospects, and customers at tradeshows, industry events, and conferences
• Source new sales opportunities through lead generation, follow-up, outbound cold calls and emails to prospective clients.
• Closing deals in-person or via phone calls
• Interacts with the company’s clients to provide them with information to address inquiries regarding services.
• Responding to clients’ queries promptly via emails, calls, social media or in-person.
• Provide outstanding customer service to all clients and communicate with them on a regular basis
• Keep clients informed promptly about updates
• Assist with and contribute to marketing and advertising initiatives
• Exhibit expert knowledge regarding the services offered to clients.
• Frequently check-in with clients to confirm their satisfaction of services provided
• Calmly handle customer complaints and work to find solutions
• would improve work performance. overseeing and developing marketing campaigns
• conducting research and analysing data to identify and define audiences
• devising and presenting ideas and strategies
• promotional activities

Qualifications
What we require from you
• 2+ years of experience on high-performing direct marketing
• Good communication skills
• Demonstrated success in driving go-to-market strategy for market-leading products
• Experience managing product launches, including managing cross-functional teams
• Strong capacity development skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal, facilitation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of any of the following areas is a strong plus: Human resource, Risk management, Corporate governance, Performance management, Time management, Customer service satisfaction, Project management, Education and Occupation health and safety administration, just to mention a few.
