It sometimes baffles me why people who have no value for lives are blessed with children

Parents of a little girl who was bitten by snake allegedly refused to take her to the hospital until there was nothing left to rescue in her.

According to a corper serving in the hospital where the little girl died, while speaking to izeksblog, she said the parents pretended to be treating the girl at home with native medicine. They then decided to bring her to the hospital when they realized she was almost gone.

She also added that when they realized she was losing so much blood, they asked the parent for money for blood transfusion but the mother obviously valued money more than her daughter asked “if we give her the blood shebi she go still die”.

Hmmmmmm, it baffles me how people in this side of Kogi state, Yagba East to be precise treat human life. A little girl who was bitten by snake was left at home for three whole days. And the parents claimed they were treating her traditionally. But it seemed like they were losing the little girl. She was then rushed to the hospital. The doctors tried all they could do, including giving her a combination of snake antidotes. But all seemed not to be working.

"One less mouth to feed" may be what the parents were thinking. It could simply be ignorance by the parents.
