With you went the colours in my life
In your absence, all are a shade of grey
The Cooling breeze now blisters
The morning sun scorches and burns
Only grey skies
Too little light
No more birds
Only the crows
Flowers are gone
Weeds have sprung
Tell tales of love strained
But not undone
Time tortures the heart
The road widens the wound
