hmmm , noted, but i think the usefulness of a curved screen is greater than the notch display

Seriously, unless someone can tell me the practical usefulness of a curved edge display. In my opinion, its more of a design aimed at good look than usefulness. Samsung Edge devices are great devices but their greatness isn't based on their curved edges. Yes, curved edge display add to cost of device but it is still an unnecessary extra cost to manufacture and purchase.

So, for now I see no reason why other manufacturer should adopt this design. Perhaps this has been their thought too.

Some designs aren't just worth the extra cost. Just like the trending 'notch' design. Having checked some phones, one begin to wonder why the notch is needed in the first place. the notch found on latest Apple phones were due to necessity while those found on most Android phones were mere aesthetic functions.
