Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, is selling a business unit of his conglomerates, Dangote Flour Mills Plc, to Olam International at a value worth N130 billion, an equivalent of $361.11 million.

Apparently, Dangote’s company ‘Dangote Flour Mills Plc’, made this known in a corporate disclosure posted on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) on Tuesday.

Overhaul Agricultural Policies to Provide Enabling Environment, Dangote Urges FG

Number one African billionaire, Aliko Dangote, has advocated for the review of the federal government’s agricultural policies to pave way for economic viability in the country.

The President of Dangote Group, made the call at a forum organised by Kano Concerned Citizens Initiative (KCCI) held at Bayero University, Kano (BUK).

The richest man in Africa specifically wants an overhaul of policies on agriculture to provide enabling environment for job creation, Urging the federal government to intensify efforts on power generation.

The business mogul, who lamented that most industries collapsed due to inadequate power supply, explained that although the government alone could not provide jobs for all the citizens, insisted that “the responsibility of creating an enabling environment for self-employment rests on the government.”
