Lecturer in strategy, career and personal development coach and one of the co-founder of BTDHub populary known by his Twitter handle OgbeniDipo has gotten himself trending online after taking to his Twitter account to pass an information to young folks about indulging in an Internet fraud populary known as Yahoo Yahoo. He started that the government has to create more jobs so that Internet fraud would reduce. He also gave account on how Internet fraud started back in the 80s after the federal government abandoned Nigerian that were sent aboard to study

He said,

We need to create more opportunities for young people and perhaps some of them will stay away from Yahoo Yahoo. There are no jobs, no hope for tomorrow and many people laugh at folks like us who study and work really hard. I am not justifying fraud. Just saying fix the country.

He continued,

Things are so bad that 20/23 year olds are doing Ogun owo just because they want to buy Benz, lead a riotous life and flex the most beautiful girls. Things are really bad, but we can fix it.

Young people, especially in South West Nigeria, please be patient and work hard, you will make it. Don’t let anyone oppress you with unexplained wealth. Work hard and smart. Your time is coming.

Yahoo Yahoo reportedly started in the 80s when the Nigerian Government sent some students abroad and left them hanging without paying their fees/bill. Of course greed is a major issue, we still cannot absolve the govt of blame. They need to create jobs & an enabling environment.

Our Politicians earn so much money while some Professors retire wretched. A lot of folks who work really hard end up poor. Best students get N50, 000 while Miss Nigeria gets millions, plus a car. I understand Yahoo Yahoo folks are greedy and all, but let’s fix our country too.
