Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has commiserated with the Family and members of Christ like assembly Church, Akure over the demise of its founder, Bishop Joshua Ketiku.

Speaking during a condolence visit to the home of the revered cleric in Akure, governor Akeredolu described him as a respected and humble man of God who impacted the virtues of Christ in the minds of believers.

The governor while emphasising that his death is indeed a great loss to his family, the church, Christiandom and Ondo state at large expressed the hope that the former chairman of the Christian association of Nigeria in the state is resting in the blossom of his creator.

He assured the Wife, Mrs Odunayo Ketiku and the family that the state government will actively take part in the funeral ceremony to ensure the late Bishop is given a befitting burial.

Responding on behalf of the church, Pastor Olaoye Williams who intimated the governor on the lined up activities for the burial coming up in the last week of next month thanked him for the visit.
