However the move to recognise Kogi as an oil-producing state was rejected by the Senate, who however unanimously approved the prayer urging Kogi, Anambra and Enugu states to resolve their border disputes. How many years does it take to figure this out. The FG should provide an answer already. |

There is a big difference between oil-producing and oil-processing. They may be an oil-processing state but they have not contributed to the revenue of this country from oil. When they do that, they will become an oil-producing state.” Plenty of sense will not kill this man. Next Bornu will say they should also be declared an oil producing state. Nonsense and ingredients |

santopelele: The SE, they should be allowed to go.... Is obvious they are the most complete region in Nigeria Land to farm.. Crude oil to explore Water to fish Business oriented minds.. More technological oriented... Let them leave.... That might as well make Nigeria situp and do something good, because is like Nigeria as a nation lack motivation.... We all believe we are this same hole, until some group leave, that thinking won't stop 6 Likes 1 Share |

lordkush: And why should Ondo be removed? for ur information Ondo has more oil than only ur 2 states(Abia and imo)producing oil in the SE. Only SS States has more oil than Ondo. so next time dont let your fingers be faster than ur brain. https://www.nigerianinfopedia.com/oil-producing-states-in-nigeria-presently-full-list/ 3 Likes |

Honor10:cooked up list. We all know why ijaw nation was smuggled into ondo state just to give yorubas oil status...... Those LGA are ijaws and should be in beyalsa state. Yoruba land is caused for oil to exist unless you are referring to palm oil... Keep hoping that Lagos will also be smuggled due to oil imported from beyalsa |

lawaljuliuss: There's massive oil in Kogi, in commercial quantity as well. I have known this for many years now. Kogi is actually southern Nigeria, That's the major reason why the Hausa leadership has refused to recognize them as oil producers, (even though the north has been looking for crude oil). |
