NANS asks NLC to take over Ogun Labour Party

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has asked the Nigeria Labour Congress (N.L.C) to take over activities of the Labour Party in Ogun State.

The students made the call during a protest led by the National Public Relations of NANS, Comrade Adeyemi Azeez, in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, on Thursday.

The body also asked the National Working Committee (NWC) of Labour Party and N.L.C to, as a matter of urgency and necessity declare, the state Labour Party Chairmam, Comrade Abayomi Arabambi, persona non-granta and immediately sack him from the party and all it's activities.

NANS also called on the Economic and Financial Crimea Commission (E.F.C.C) and the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (I.C.P.C) to investigate the alleged resources that were fraudulently acquired by Arabambi.
