Barcelona have won yet another La Liga title thanks to a Lionel Messi goal last night, MySportDab reports.

Messi came on as a substitute in the second half and he placed a shot past AitorFernandez to settle the game and the nerves of the near 92,000 inside the stadium.

Messi also got the very last touch of the game poking the ball out of play before time was finally called on their successful title campaign.

He was handed the trophy by Luis Rubiales, the president of the Spanish FA and that was the cue for the fireworks and celebrations to begin.

This is Barcelona's eighth league title in the last 11 years – a domination that stretches back across the decade graced by the club's greatest ever player.

Messi now has 10 league titles.
