Mister model international pageant grand finale is going on live now, 28th April and here are few things you need to know about the contest with focus on Nigeria rep, Somtochukwu Emmanuel.

Mister Model International is a global contest for male beauty pageant which has been held since 2013. It is managed by TIM Management Group and it’s a globally recognized male pageantry that has produced 5 winners who are now very successful and celebrated in the fashion world.

This year edition is ongoing in Chiangmai, Thailandand its the first time ever Nigeria is taking part in the competition. Nigeria’s very own, Emmanuel Somto is rooting for the Country and he is hopeful on coming back home with the big price as he forges ahead in the race.

In his words, ‘ My major goal for going in for the competition is firstly to put Nigeria on the map of Mister Model International Pageantry and to promote Nigeria’s culture and our fashion in Thailand. And to correct somethings about what Asians feel about Nigerians.’

He hopes to take The Emmanuel Somto brand globally which he is growing leverage on from this competition. After this, he hopes to use the fame and platform he is getting from this to enter fully into Nollywood, relaunch his clothing brand and extend his laundry outlets to more cities.
